Private Lessons
The best way to learn to dance is by taking a combination of Group Classes, Private Lessons, and practicing on a regular basis. Private Lessons allow you to spend one on one time with a teacher. The focus is usually on technique such as footwork, lead/follow, frame, using the center, and partnering skills.
Private Lessons are where you truly learn to dance. It is often difficult in a Group Class to impart everything to each individual. In a Private Lesson it's all about you and your needs as a dancer. Private Lessons can be for an individual or a couple and are 55 minutes in length.
Coaching Lessons
A Coaching Lesson is very similar to but different from a regular Private Lesson. Coaching Lessons are usually for competitive dancers or those wanting to become competitive dancers. These students have chosen to take their skills far beyond that of a typical social dancer. Coaching includes all aspects of the dancing including technique, choreography, presentation, performance, character, floor craft, and musicality.
